System Settings
Configure your Mentor LMS platform's basic information, branding, and global settings.
After completing installation, configure your system settings to customize your platform.
Accessing System Settings
- Log in to your admin dashboard
- Navigate to Settings in the sidebar
- Select System
Configuration Tabs
The System Settings page is organized into:
- Website — Core website information and branding
- Navbar — Navigation bar configuration
- Footer — Footer section settings
- Style — Visual appearance and theme settings
Website Information
Basic Information
| Field | Description |

| Website Name | Platform name displayed across the application |
| Website Title | Browser title and page title for SEO |
| Keywords | Comma-separated keywords for SEO |
| Description | Platform description for SEO |
| Author | Platform author or organization name |
| Slogan | A catchy tagline for your platform |
Contact Information
- System Email — Primary email for system notifications
- Phone — Contact phone number for support
Media Assets
- Logo Dark — Logo for dark theme or dark backgrounds
- Logo Light — Logo for light theme or light backgrounds
- Favicon — Small icon in browser tabs (recommended: 32×32px, ICO or PNG)
- Banner — Hero banner for homepage
Additional Settings
Website Direction
Controls text direction:
- None — Uses default direction based on language
- LTR (Left-to-Right) — For English, Spanish, French, etc.
- RTL (Right-to-Left) — For Arabic, Hebrew, Urdu, etc.
Default Theme
Sets the default appearance for visitors:
- System — Automatically matches visitor's system preference
- Light — Always displays light theme
- Dark — Always displays dark theme
Language Selector
- Show — Displays language selector for users
- Hide — Hides the language selector
Course Selling Currency
Select the currency for all course pricing. This affects course listings, checkout, and payment processing.
Course Selling Tax (%)
Set the tax percentage applied to course purchases. Automatically calculated and added at checkout.
Instructor Revenue (%)
Configure the revenue share percentage for instructors.
- Example: If set to 70%, the instructor receives 70% of each sale and the platform keeps 30%.
